Paris 13 L1 Droit Monday 3 October

To my L1 law students at Paris 13: I'm sorry but I can't be there on Monday 3 October. I hope you get this message in time, and please pass it on to your classmates. I'll explain when I see you on 10 Oct, and we'll organise replacement classes. Thanks for your understanding.

Paris 13

It was nice to meet my first two classes today. Some of you seemed quite shocked at the idea that you have to talk in English in an English class! But don't worry, you'll soon get used to it. Don't forget your dictionaries and A-Z notebooks next week. See you then.

Paris 4

Classes start on Friday for my third-year translation students at Paris 4. All the texts will be in the booklet. There won't be a class on Friday 11 November as it's a public holiday. If I have a message for you between classes I'll post it here.

Maybe in the past you have been discouraged from bringing a dictionary to class, but I would strongly encourage you to do so - a dictionary is the translator's best friend!

Today is the start of classes for my L1 and L2 Law students at Paris 13. All the material you need will be in your booklets. Remember to bring an English-French dictionary and a vocabulary notebook (A-Z) to every class. If I have messages for you in between classes I'll post them here. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
